Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, child and youth support, psychosocial intervention, community outreach, advocacy, post-shelter services, administration, facilities management, food services, and housekeeping. Each team member plays an essential role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where women and children can begin to heal and rebuild their lives.
Through ongoing professional development and specialized training in intimate partner violence, our staff continuously strengthen their knowledge and skills to respond effectively to the complex realities faced by survivors. Guided by feminist principles, trauma-informed practices, and a client-centered approach, we provide individualized support that promotes safety, empowerment, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Our intervention staff work alongside our administrative team, cook, maintenance and security personnel, and housekeeping staff to ensure that every aspect of daily life at the shelter contributes to a sense of dignity, comfort, and belonging. From crisis support and advocacy to preparing nutritious meals, maintaining safe facilities, and creating welcoming living spaces, every role contributes meaningfully to the healing journey of the women and children we serve.
